It’s as close as you can get to a true Italian trattoria without shelling out the bucks for plane tickets across the pond. Chef Michael says the pizzas are worth the drive, as are any of the Italian dishes...

Our favorite place to eat Italian food is Vincitorio’s in Tempe. Wow! Mario Vincitorio is no out-of-the-can Italian. He is the real deal. Mario comes to us right from Italy. The food is pure Italian. Up until last night, Brunello was my favorite Italian restaurant...no longer. Vincitori's is now my *only* Italian restaurant! Mario makes *the* best cream of mushroom soup I have *ever* had, more like a mushroom bisque....Thank you, Mario and Ginger!

Our entrees were good (we each had pasta dishes, they have a fine selection of homemade pasta on site, or other dishes with pasta imported from Italy. The ambiance nice. Our waitress was very polite and well informed. Owners were there and working the floor caring for everyone's needs, saying hello to return guests.
